How do I clean and care for my Calini Coffee Table?

Caring for your Calini Coffee Table is simple — and only takes 30 seconds:Microfiber + water: wipe with a soft microfiber cloth and warm water for everyday dust and fingerprints. No chemicals: avoid ammonia (Windex), alcohol-based cleaners, and solvents — they can dull the iridescent finish. No abrasives: the plexiglass is scratch-resistant but soft compared to glass. Skip rough sponges and paper towels.

Does the Calini Coffee Table come assembled?

No — the Calini Coffee Table arrives flat-packed and assembles in about 5 minutes. Every box includes a printed step-by-step diagram, all hardware, and the Allen wrench (hex key) you need — nothing to buy separately.Place the top on a flat, smooth surface with the attachment points facing up.Peel the protective film off the attachment points only — keep the film on the main top for now.Align each leg so the smaller holes face inward (toward the attachment) and the larger holes face outward. Insert each screw through the leg first, then through the attachment, and secure with a nut on the exposed end.Flip the table upright. Peel off the remaining protective film from the main top.Tools needed: none to buy — the Allen wrench (hex key) is included in the box. That's it. If your set includes both Small and Large, each comes in its own box and assembles independently.

Do you offer Warranty on the Calini Coffee Table?

We are more than pleased to offer our customers a 2 year warranty on the Calini Coffee Table. Our Casa Guarantee entitles you to a full replacement or refund of the product.

How long will my Calini Coffee Table last?

The Calini Coffee Table is built to last a lifetime. The dichroic finish is fused into the acrylic — not a film coating — so it doesn't peel or fade with sun exposure. The acrylic top is scratch-resistant under everyday use. With basic care (microfiber + water, no abrasives), your Calini will look the same in 10+ years as it does on day one.

My Calini Coffee Table arrived looking scratched — is it damaged?

No — the Calini ships with blue protective films covering the top and the underside of every leg. The "scratches" are on the film, not the plexiglass. Peel from any corner and the surface underneath will be clear. If something still looks off after you've removed the film, send a photo to support@casadilumo.com and we'll replace it.

03 · DICHROIC MOMENT · THE HOW

One table. Every color.

The top AND the legs are dichroic plexiglass — multi-chromatic acrylic that shifts hue depending on where you sit and where the light is coming from. No LED, no app, no power.

Iridescent acrylic side table casting a blue shadow on a garden path — 0° Cyan

Iridescent acrylic table casting colorful shadows on a sunny pool deck — 90° Pink

Round iridescent acrylic side table on a wood floor with magazines — 180° Spectrum

Overhead view of oval iridescent acrylic coffee table with magazines — 270° Purple

How the color shifts

Light passes through the acrylic. Color comes out the other side.

Both the top and the legs are dichroic plexiglass. White light enters, certain wavelengths reflect, the rest pass through — what lands on your floor is not the white that hit the table.

01

Daylight meets the acrylic
Sunlight hits the dichroic surface at the angle it happens to be travelling. No setup, no power.
02

Coatings split the spectrum
Five thin-film layers reflect certain wavelengths and let the rest pass through.
03

A different color exits
What lands on your floor is not the white that hit the top. Walk around and the color shifts again.

The packaging was an art-handling case. It arrived perfect. The legs glow at sunset.

My partner thought it was an art piece. We didn't correct him.

Afternoon sun hits it and the whole floor lights up. Looks like a styled shoot. It's just our living room.
