No — the Calini Coffee Table arrives flat-packed and assembles in about 5 minutes. Every box includes a printed step-by-step diagram, all hardware, and the Allen wrench (hex key) you need — nothing to buy separately.Place the top on a flat, smooth surface with the attachment points facing up.Peel the protective film off the attachment points only — keep the film on the main top for now.Align each leg so the smaller holes face inward (toward the attachment) and the larger holes face outward. Insert each screw through the leg first, then through the attachment, and secure with a nut on the exposed end.Flip the table upright. Peel off the remaining protective film from the main top.Tools needed: none to buy — the Allen wrench (hex key) is included in the box. That's it. If your set includes both Small and Large, each comes in its own box and assembles independently.

No — the Calini ships with blue protective films covering the top and the underside of every leg. The "scratches" are on the film, not the plexiglass. Peel from any corner and the surface underneath will be clear. If something still looks off after you've removed the film, send a photo to support@casadilumo.com and we'll replace it.
